The High Window 
It’s fascinating to see these visual responses to the current issue. S. A. Leavesley doesn’t illustrate the poems, her responsive images are in juxtaposition, a true ‘ekphrasis’ : something coming out of words. The response to Angela Topping’s poem is intriguingly allusive. I’d love to see more of these. (NB Is the title of Emma Lee’s poem correct above the image? Should it be ‘Learning to speak’?)
