Editorial Winter 2019: Final Instalment

With this second and final instalment the Winter 2019 issue of The  High Window is now complete.  It contains a substantial set of translations from the rich tradition of  Modern Greek poetry which has been translated and curated by Manolis Aligizakis. There is an  essay on John Ruskin by Michael Crowley and the featured poet is the much-travelled Kate Noakes. The winter reviews section brings together all  reviews that have previously been published as supplementary posts alongside a few more that haven’t yet appeared.

To concide with this issue, The High Window Press is publishing three new collections. They are:  Man at the Ice House by Alison Mace, Daylight of Seagulls by Alice Allen and   Empire of Eden, by the American poet Tom Laichas. They are all available  on the this website and are slowly making their way onto Amazon.

Finally, four new poems have been included in the Editor’s Spot.
